Spottr for Pilates & yoga studios
Studio software that knows a class is not a haircut.
Your schedule, your series and your spots, plus something your clients keep opening between classes.
You are teaching four classes today and doing the admin between them, on a phone, with chalky hands.
Here today
built and workingA schedule with a real spot count
Set how many can come and Spottr holds that number properly. Two people booking at the same moment cannot both take the last spot, it is locked while the booking happens rather than checked and hoped over.
Who is coming, without asking anyone
The list for the classes you teach, in booking order, visible only to you. A cancelled class keeps its list so the people who booked can see it was called off and why.
A studio listing people can find
Your studio in a directory with distance search, so somebody new to the suburb finds you rather than the chain down the road.
Not yet
does not existNamed rather than hinted at. Four of the thirteen platforms in this market will not tell you what they cost at all; none of them will tell you what they cannot do.
Class packs, series and terms
You cannot sell a ten-class pack, an eight-week series or a term. Scheduling a recurring series works, it is taking money for one as a unit that does not exist. For most studios this is the blocker, and it is being built before anything cosmetic.
Taking payment
No card payment, no memberships, no intro offers. You take money however you do now.
Booking a specific piece of apparatus
Spottr counts spots; it cannot yet book Reformer 4 specifically, or a named position at the barre. Mindbody, Hapana and Momence all ship spot selection, so this is a real gap rather than a preference, and a class that needs a tower as well as a reformer is capped by whichever you have fewer of, which a single number cannot express. That is why it is not a quick fix and why it is named here.
Levels, prerequisites and injury notes
No level gating on a booking, and no place to hold what you know about somebody's back. That last one is health information, which carries real obligations, so it is being designed carefully rather than added as a text field.
And what they get
The half of this market nobody bothers with
Your teaching notes should stay yours, and in this market they do, every serious studio platform keeps a dated client note that only staff can read. What none of them gives the client is their own copy of their own practice. Spottr's client side is exactly that: what they actually did, in their own history, visible to them, theirs to export whenever they ask, and it does not vanish if they miss a month or move suburbs.
What it costs
Your own training
Free
Logging, routines, the calendar, sharing, the directory and classes. Not a trial of these, and no card to start.
Depth, per person
$5.00/mo
Long-term progress charts and coaching a roster. No card to start, and everything else stays free. $50.00 a year if you prefer.
There is no venue plan yet, and no price for one
Everything above is per person. A plan for a business does not exist, because the things a business would be paying for, memberships, recurring billing, waitlists, check-in, are the things listed under “not yet”. When it exists, its price will be a number on the pricing page.
Coming from Mindbody or Punchpass?
Your own training history imports, a delimited file, with you confirming which column is which before a row is written, free and with no subscription first. A list of other people does not yet, and pretending otherwise would be the first broken promise. What there is either way: nothing to unpick if you change your mind. Everything you put into Spottr comes back out as a spreadsheet, on any plan, including one that has lapsed, with one click and no support ticket.

- a spreadsheet
Bringing a list of people across is the biggest single blocker in this market, and it is being built. In the meantime there is something more useful than a promise: exactly which fields survive an export from your current platform, including the ones that do not, which is the list nobody else publishes.
The fair objection
“This will be a gym product with yoga stickers on it.”
Fair, and it is the right question to ask, most of this category is either a gym product or a salon product wearing a costume. Here is the honest position: the parts of Spottr that serve you today are the schedule and the spot count, and the parts that would make it genuinely studio-native, packs, series, apparatus booking, levels, are named above as missing rather than dressed up. You can read that list before you spend anything, which is more than the four vendors in this market who will not publish a price will let you do.
Start free, decide later.
No card, and a free tier that does not expire. Pay only if the paid part turns out to be worth it.
