How to leave,
and take everything with you.
The most common thing said about software in this category is that people could not get their history back out of it. So here is the exit, documented, before you have given us anything.
Exit fee
None
There is no fee to stop, downgrade, or delete your account.
Notice period
None
Cancel whenever. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you already paid for, and you keep full access for all of it.
Minimum term
None
Billed a month at a time unless you chose annual. No contract to see out.
Export cost
Free
Included on every plan, including the free one and a lapsed one. Not a paid feature and not a support request.
In order
01
Take your data first
Account → Download CSV. One request, one file, immediately, no email, no ticket, no waiting for a job to run. One row per set: date, session, exercise, set number, reps, load, set type, RPE, whether it was a personal best, and your own notes. It opens in Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets or anything that reads a CSV, and it carries a byte-order mark so Excel on Windows does not mangle exercise names you typed yourself.
02
Stop paying, if you were
Account → Manage billing opens Stripe's own portal, where you cancel. Nothing is hidden behind a retention flow, a phone call or a chat window. You keep everything you paid for until the period ends, because you paid for it.
03
Or just stop, and keep the free tier
You do not have to leave to stop paying. Logging, routines, sharing, the directory and classes are free, so a lapsed account is a working account with fewer charts, not a locked one. Your history stays exactly as you left it and the export keeps working.
04
Delete it, if that is what you want
Email hello@viridiandynamics.com.au with the subject "Delete my account". It is actioned within 30 days, and it means deleted, your profile, your sessions, your sets, your routines, your bookings. Export first, because after this there is nothing to export.
What this page is not promising
A page about being trustworthy that overstates anything is worse than no page at all.
A member list still cannot be imported
Your own training history does import, a file out of Hevy, Strong, JEFIT, FitNotes or a spreadsheet, with you confirming which column is which before anything is written, free and with no subscription first. A business's roster does not. That half is being built, and until it is, a studio's exit from here is easier than its entrance, an asymmetry stated rather than hidden.
Deletion is an email, not a button
A self-serve delete button does not exist yet. Emailing hello@viridiandynamics.com.au works and is honoured within 30 days; a button would be better and is not built. Pretending otherwise on this page of all pages would be absurd.
A business cannot export other people's training history
This is deliberate and it will not change. Every person exports their own log; a gym, studio or trainer cannot download the training histories of the people they look after. If a venue leaves Spottr, its members' logs stay with the members. That is a constraint on our own customers, and it is the right one.
The formal version of all this is in the terms and the privacy policy. If this page and those documents ever disagree, that is a bug worth telling us about.
